Jungle safaris on elephant back or jeep ride through the silent jungle catching wildlife by surprise, it will be one of the most enduring experiences in Nepal. The jungles in the south-western parts of Nepal are only Fifty-five minutes to an hour’s flight away. With the best wildlife habitat and well preserved, the animals are thriving. Among these are the endangered species. The greater one-horned rhinoceros and the most south ager Royal Bengal tiger. The many safaris in Bardia provide excellent accommodation and facilities for guests to enjoy wildlife activities. See wildlife up-close in an elephant safari or a jeep drive, a boat ride or nature walk under the guidance of expert naturalists with years of experience. BARDIA JUNGLE SAFARI TOUR Day-by-day ITINERARY
Jungle walks (half or full days) The most common way to explore the park, these jungle walks have regular breaks at watchtowers and areas the guides know are good for finding tracks and spotting larger animals. Elephant safaris (1 or 2 hours) These take part in the early morning or late afternoon, mainly targeting rhino sightings and birds. We normally combine these with a tour of the park visitor center and crocodile breeding center.
This jeep safari into the park allows you to cover lot more ground, explore different habitats and target species you’ve not seen already. Some short jungle walks and breaks at spotting sites are built in. A wide variety of short or longer walks are available from the lodge to learn about local Tharu village life and see some of the many bird species living on the Park fringes and in the surrounding farmland.
